I don't have much other to talk about than that I made a cheesecake. This time what I made wasn't my own creation like the carbonaralike (lol), but it was delicious nevertheless.
I followed a recipe from a popular Estonian recipe site called Nami-Nami. The cake base is the usual digestive cookie and butter mix you can find in many cheese cakes, so I won't mention that, but the actual cheesecake part of the cake is what differes a bit from other cheesecakes I've made before. I've never used condensed milk before in my cooking, so I thought that it might become too sweet, but the lemon juice in it softened sweetness and made it right up my alley haha.
Here's the translation for the filling part, in case you want to make it too:
You need:
- 2dl 35% cream (you know, the kind you can make into whipped cream)
- 400g cream cheese
- 200-400g sweetened condensed milk
- around 2 lemons worth of juice and grated peels
Mix the cream cheese and condensed milk. Whip the 35% cream, but leave it semi-whipped. Add the cream cheese and condensed milk mix and mix until nicely mixed.(So many mixes lol) While mixing add the lemon juice and grated peels according to your taste. And the cream is done!
